This fella was spotted huffing a glass pipe before entering the audition room.

We found a folder entitled “Mugshots” which contained the above images. There are a few more which we are trying to restore.

We also found a reference to the origin of these images before we found the images themselves. An early memo written by Charlie Ryba reads thus:

Me and Cassidy took photographs and videos of all the auditioners we thought were terrible. We had asked them to wear some silly clothes and put on some makeup so we could consider their cyberpunkness at a later date. At the time we didn’t know what we were going to use them for, but now we do: we want you to turn them into digital wanted posters to be spread around Cyberia. Get your best men on it and hit me back this time next week. Tick tock, tick tock…

We don’t know who this memo was sent to, but we reckon it would’ve been Howard Hill and his environment team.

We also don’t know how the all too familiar numpty above survived this cull, but he did. And not just for one role but for two. He must’ve paid them to have those roles. Or maybe we’re being a little harsh and in fact he was a trained thespian versed in Shakespeare who had fallen on hard times.

Regardless, we like these mugshot posters as they could’ve only been used in a slightly terrible yet infinitely charming 1980s cyberpunk TV series.

[EDIT 20/03/2026]

We have recently released The Cyber Heads Database which has shed some further light on the Most Wanted files.

Andy Peck had created the above-mentioned database. Alongside this he must’ve caught wind that there was a Cyberia’s Most Wanted concept also in existence. So alongside the database, he expanded his idea to this.

Peck wrote how players could have the occasional opportunity to headhunt Cyberia’s most wanted. They would first need to spend some Candy on resources. They would then need to make a series of decisions based on what is known about the most wanted character.

For example they may have last been seen in the Pleasure Strip which means they could still be there or they may have fled. If a player kept on the right track then more information would come to light such as a recent sighting at the Screamer Arena. If they made several correct choices in a row then they would be rewarded with a suitcase full of Candy. If they fail to make the correct decision then they lose the money they spent on resources.

Like the database idea, we think this dynamic is also pretty cool and that Peck was a natural born cyberpunk game designer hiding in plain sight. Because we’re highly judgemental, we presumed Peck was just another Give Me Head waste of space who was way, way out of his depth. How wrong could we be?

The moral of the story, we believe, is that when you go through life and find yourself taking a look around at the hoi polloi and shaking your head in disgust, remember that they are all human beings just like you; with a soul and a beating heart. You never know what talents they carry with them, what amazing stories they can share with you. You stand upright and shoulder to shoulder with them.

But as soon as you get the first wiff that they’re just another cunt who have wasted your precious time then adjust your opinions accordingly and boot them off your radar. Life is far too short to surround yourself with cunts. And let’s face it: most people you meet are cunts. It doesn’t mean that you hate their guts and want them to die horribly. You just don’t want to meet up for a pint or visit the funfair with them.

That’s our philosophy anyway.
