Cyberia Location #3 Cyberia Zoo [With Footage]

We have no idea what is going on here. A mouse watching a cartoon? A cartoon watching a mouse? Who cares?
An elephant with an earthworm’s tail for a trunk.
This isn’t anything.
[VHS #1]
This isn’t anything moving.
[VHS #1]
A gremlin looks over the shoulder of another gremlin.
A military pigeon?
A fascinating replica of an imaginary lizard.
A reptile about to take a shit while watching a green blob on television.
This is probably the best image of the lot.
[VHS #1]
The second best.
A man wearing a ridiculous tiger costume.
Is this supposed to be Dan’s Ostrich?
A young pup studying some type of something.
This looks like the chill out room at an illegal rave rather than a reception room for a cyberpunk zoo.

As we have seen elsewhere, when CEO Cassidy first saw his bank balance post-inheritance, he began to throw a ton of money at various early projects. The most expensive of the lot was the Cyberia Zoo. We have absolutely no clue why anyone would think this was a good idea. Such a location is wildly out of place in the cyberpunk genre.

We have poured over some sketches and notes, but we can’t find any reasonable explanation as to what the point of it is. Unlike the Swank Gallery and the Screamer Arena, this zoo has no utility for any of the playable characters. I mean; what can people really do at a zoo other than look at bored animals in cages and wonder if their life is any better than their own?

Regardless Cassidy gave it the green light and everybody got to work. The above photographs were taken inside a huge warehouse which was rented for two weeks. All things considered the team did quite an impressive job for the short time they had. However, after those two weeks Cassidy told everyone to pause while they shift focus to another project. This project died right there and, as far as we can tell, was never resuscitated.
