In the Cyberia Universe we found references to many different breeds of punk. The one which won the Darwinian battle for survival is “metropunk”. So what is one?

A metropunk is a young, hip, super-augmented citizen whose brain is made of cottage cheese. Like any city today, these punks make up the masses of people who just seem to shuffle around aimlessly, fiddling with their gadgets and getting drawn in by shiny colourful fluff to distract from their otherwise spiritually dead crawl to the grave.

Furthermore metropunks are the droids who appear in the background of photographs, staring into space. Their names are boring, their limited set of opinions are predictable. They exist only to walk around malls and squander their candy on shit neon tracksuits. Their relationships with others are surface level. On the subject of anything actually interesting or important, they revel in their ignorance and feed on the cultural crumbs of conformity.

Their soul has been castrated.
