A Gallery of Promotional Material for Cyberia [With Animations]

A classic futuristic vehicle and a beautiful ’80s cityscape. This is almost the same calibre as our old friend Mr Mystery.

As we have seen, the Give Me Head team was a mixed bag of gourmet Belgian chocolates and your nan’s over-boiled brussel sprouts. However, to their credit, one area they seemed to excel in was illustration and design.

Below is some of the promotional material we have found at varying stages of completion. We still have a number of folders to sort through and, where possible, we’ll add more.

We have also provided additional notes and information.

We believe that this image (and others like it) were going to be used for piecing together the iconic poster art style of the ’80s. The fella is none other than captain of the cool Gunther.
One of the promotional poster designs we’ve found. It was used as a file cover and has consequently taken some damage. The tag line reads Where Kings Come to Conquer. Photograph taken by Philip Dalton.
This design was going to be used as a hologram sticker. Artist unknown.
[VHS #1]
Another poster piece. This time we have the nutjob with a God complex Lord Garf.
We’re not entirely sure if this is promo for the television series or was going to be displayed within the Cyberia Universe like a tourism poster (similar to these wanted posters). We believe it’s the latter.
An early concept draft we found. We believe this predates the development of the Cyberia characters.
This was a promo idea floated by Andy Peck. It’s sort of funny but didn’t catch on.
An illustration of the king of rock ‘n’ roll Scotch Mike.
This is what became of draft #1 shown above. On the back it reads: I don’t recall asking for somebody who looks like he works in waste management. Stick this in the trash while I beat up whoever this is.
Another vehicle/ cityscape combination. Tag line reads Where Nobody Remembers Your Face. Photograph by Philip Dalton.
[VHS #1]
We think this is another tourism poster which would’ve been seen around Cyberia. And check out those sexy awesome Viv Bastards!
Another draft. On the back it reads “Fuck you, Cass!”.
A little garish but still dripping with an ’80s cyberpunk aesthetic. This was actually created for the Neon Nights video game.
An illustration of bad boy Tommy Hawk which would’ve been used as part of a bigger collage.
Classic ’80s. Interestingly this image has a tag line which reads Where the Blood Never Dries which is perhaps unknowingly stolen from the British Empire of all things.
A clumsy looking tourism poster.
Another tourism poster. This one is our personal favourite.
Another hologram sticker design.

And here we have the Bombay Butcher Unhinged Maurice. Somebody not to mess with.
Another classic with the tag line Where Kings Come to Rule. However, if you look at the ground in this image then you can see it’s just a studio floor. We also know that the cityscape has been painted onto fabric with lights shining behind it. Still cool and all credit to Philip Dalton.
Another Cyberia tourism poster. It would’ve been displayed at the Pleasure Strip.
We have no idea how Wet Fart Larry has ended up among the stars of the show but who are we to judge?
Another favourite.
A classic VHS animation. We are trying to find out who produced this little beauty.
