“My tongue is sharper than my blade and my blade is quite sharp.” –Hao-Yu
District: Megacorp Valley
Occupation: Assassin who specialises in executing warbots imported from Japan.
Many of the warbots Hao-Yu comes into contact with are preprogrammed to murder a boss or a rival or even a chump suspected of petty theft. These are very tricky enemies because the Japanese are the world’s best programmers and are always one step ahead of the Cyberpigs and their competition.
Hao-Yu’s skills are rare so he makes a lot of candy in this line of work. And he doesn’t yet know it, but he’s about to form an alliance with Scotch Mike and help him on a top aecret assignment.
Little is known for certain about the CEO of SKARS Corp except for his name: Lord Garf. Everything else in the public domain is guesswork. However, Scotch Mike doesn’t rely on the public domain for his information; he goes directly to the source.
Scotch Mike is certain that Lord Garf has a legion of warbots imported from Japan which, without special technical knowledge, are impossible to defeat. This means he will require Hao-Yu’s expertise. The problem is that Hao-Yu only handles comparatively low level contracts. Something of the magnitude Scotch Mike requires is a terrifying project.
Scotch Mike will need to somehow convince Hao-Yu to get on board. One selling point is that he is recruiting an elite unit of Cyberia’s most talented mercenaries. They will enter a long arse battle between the survival of the Saps or imminent Garfmageddon. It will all depend on how the players interact with each other and whether or not they have the guts to rid Cyberia of its most corrupt and evil megacorp.
Preferred Weapon: The terribly named Samu-die; a “supercarbon” bladed weapon so sharp that it can cut through beef as if it was cabbage.
Lifestyle tip for the kids: “Always carry a bandana because you never know when you’re going to have to fight a goddam warbot. I’ve never lost when wearing one.”
